DMCA Policy (Copyright Takedown Notice)

Alshorty respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on Alshorty — including a short link that points to infringing content, a SmartPage, or a Link-in-Bio page that contains infringing material (text, images, profile photos, videos, or background images) — infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below.

Submitting a DMCA takedown notice

To submit a valid DMCA notice, send the following information to abuse@alshorty.com:

1. Your full legal name and contact information (email, address, phone number)
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
3. The specific Alshorty URL containing the allegedly infringing content. This may be:
   • A short link (e.g. https://alshorty.com/link/abc123)
   • A SmartPage (e.g. https://alshorty.com/p/my-page)
   • A Link-in-Bio page (e.g. https://alshorty.com/bio/username)
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner
6. Your physical or electronic signature

What happens after we receive a notice

We will review the notice and, if valid, take the appropriate action within 2 business days:

• For short links — we will disable the redirect
• For SmartPages — we may remove the infringing content block, media asset, or the entire page if necessary
• For Link-in-Bio pages — we will remove the specific infringing content (image, text, or the entire page if required)

We will notify the account holder that their content has been actioned (unless prohibited by law).

Counter-notices

If you believe your content was disabled due to a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to abuse@alshorty.com containing:

1. Your full name and contact information
2. Identification of the disabled link or removed content
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was disabled due to mistake or misidentification
4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India (as per our Terms of Service), or the competent courts in your country of residence
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, we will terminate accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

Important note on scope

Alshorty operates two products subject to this policy:

• URL Shortener — We do not host destination content. Our ability to address copyright infringement is limited to disabling the short link. The underlying content on third-party servers must be addressed with the respective hosting provider directly.
• SmartPages — We host user-created landing pages and uploaded assets, including images, videos, logos, and written content. Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we may remove specific infringing content or disable the entire page if necessary.
• Link-in-Bio — We host user-uploaded content on bio pages, including profile photos and background images. For infringing content uploaded directly to a bio page, we are able to remove the specific content or the entire page upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice.
